I get asked all the time what gear I use or what camera brand I use for all my real estate photography and videography. Well, I have a lot of stuff, so let’s talk about what’s in my bag!
To start off, I use Panasonic Lumix for all my cameras. To be honest, I’m quite surprised how many people don’t know what that is. I got my first camera in 2017, and it was a Panasonic G7. I got it for $500, which is actually super cheap for a camera. It recorded 4k at 24fps, and that’s what got my attention. To be able to shoot in 4k for only $500 was a total bargain! I grew to love the camera and even filmed my first wedding in Spokane. Although, of course, being the type to always want to get better gear, I eventually got the GH5. This is when my video quality changed and became “higher end”. I started filming more weddings, real estate, and corporate ads with this little camera, and it totally paid off! I was able to make enough money from small jobs to buy more equipment.
I later bought better lenses and microphones. Then, Lumix found me on Instagram, reached out, and sent me the new S5 to use for several months to be part of an exclusive creator club to see how the S5 performs, and it’s basically a beefed-up version of the GH5. Now I use the S5 for all of my real estate photos and the GH5 is dedicated to my real estate videos. Well, that’s my camera equipment, but I’ll go ahead and list all my other gear that I use:
- Zhiyun Crane 2
- DJI Mavic Pro
- 2x Tascam Dr-10L
- Sigma 14-24mm f2.8
- Sigma 24-70mm f2.8
- Lumix 25mm f1.7
- Lumix 35-100mm f2.8
- Zoom H1n recorder
- Panasonic GH5
- Panasonic G7
- Panasonic S5
- Aperture Amaran 100d
Those are the majority of the things I take with me in my bag. I do have smaller stuff like tripods and mounts, but I don’t think those are worth mentioning haha.
Well, I hope you learned a bit more about me and what’s in my bag. Thank you for taking the time to read all that. You’re probably busy and have better things to do, so thank you!
